Spring Maintenance Checklist

(Cooling System)

During the spring visit, we prep both your indoor and outdoor components to handle the summer heat:

At the Furnace & Indoor Unit


  • Check thermostat operation
  • Replace filter
  • Inspect blower assembly
  • Inspect and lubricate blower motor
  • Take amperage reading of blower motor
  • Inspect condensate drain and flush if necessary

At the Outdoor Unit


  • Inspect condenser coil and clean
  • Inspect all electrical connections in condensing unit
  • Check service values and service port caps
  • Check compressor voltage and amperage
  • Check contactor contacts for voltage drop
  • Read and record compressor discharge gas temperature
  • Read and record suction line temperature
  • Read and record liquid line temperature

System Diagnostics & Review


  • Check evaporator coil performance
  • Check temperature drop across evaporator
  • Check unit operation according to charging calculator
  • Clean furnace cabinet
  • Cycle system through one complete cycle
  • Re-set thermostat
  • Review ProCheck cooling performance check results with customer
  • Review any appropriate indoor air quality issues with customer
  • Review service agreement with customer

Plan Terms and Agreement

Duration: This agreement is renewable on a one-year basis.

Payment: The agreement must be prepaid prior to any work being conducted.
